Children’s Ministry //
We are glad you have landed on this page and want to know more about our children’s ministry at FBC Decatur.
Our primary goal when ministering to our children and their families is for them to know that they are loved by God and have an important role to play in the work of God on Earth. We believe that children are the Church of right now, and we love journeying with them and supporting both children and their families as they build the foundation of their faith. We would love for you to join us on that journey!

Children’s Sunday School
No matter what age or grade your child is in, we have a space for them at First Baptist Decatur! While you attend one of our adult Sunday School classes, your children are led by vetted and trained volunteers in age-appropriate Bible lessons and activities. Worship Care for children
At First Baptist, we believe that worship is one of the most important things we do. We believe that worshiping together as a family is an important part of a child and a family's spiritual formation. But we also recognize that not every worship service engages children in ways that are developmentally appropriate.
We have a nursery available for children 0-2 and worship care for children 3-5. Children in 1st grade and up remain in worship with their family.
