At FBCD we have just recently started a ministry that we are calling “In-Betweeners” aimed at fostering community among those in their late 30s, 40s, and early 50s. We meet once per month at a church member’s home for light refreshments and fellowship. If you are interested in plugging into this community, please contact Sarah Lewis, slewis@fbcdecatur.com. Children are welcome!

In-Betweeners Gathering - Sunday, August 9, 12:30-3PM
We’re excited to launch FBCD’s very first In-Betweeners Gathering!
If you don’t quite consider yourself a young adult, but “senior adult” doesn’t feel like the right fit either, you just might be an In-Betweener! This new group is for adults in that in-between stage of life who are looking to build friendships and connect with others.
We’ll gather for lunch at the home of Amy and Woody Rule, where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy good food, great conversation, and get to know people you may not have met before.
This gathering will take place during the Children’s Ministry Back-to-School Party at the church, making it a great opportunity for parents and others to connect while the festivities are happening.
