Join us on Sunday, August 9, as we celebrate Children’s Sunday at First Baptist Church of Decatur!

We're delighted to welcome our Pastor for Children and Family Ministry, Shelley Woodruff, as she brings the message in both worship services.

During each service, we will also celebrate our annual Blessing of the Backpacks. Students of all ages, teachers, and school staff are invited to bring their backpacks, bags, or briefcases to receive a special blessing as we pray for a joyful, safe, and meaningful school year.

Then, keep the celebration going at our Back-to-School Party from 12:30–3:00 PM in the Activities Center! Enjoy an afternoon of food, games, fellowship, and a family-friendly movie as we kick off the new school year together.
