Tapestry T-Shirts

Hand Sewing and Design 101

Are you curious about fashion and want to know how to make your own clothes, but you don’t know where to start? Welcome to Tapestry T-Shirts, a beginner’s sewing and design class! Fabric tells the story of the hands that made it, stitch by stitch. Students will learn basic hand sewing materials, techniques, and stitches, in addition to garment sketching, design ideation and sustainability practices to create their very own customized t-shirt made from upcycled fabrics.
