Christmas is a time when we celebrate the goodness of God’s incarnation, the best gift ever, marked by time with loved ones. And yet, so often it can be a time that exacerbates our stress, our grief, even our family conflict.

Advent is a time of preparation and anticipation of the coming of Messiah at Christmas. That coming is at the same time a past event, a present reality, and a future hope.

What does it mean to us today to believe that God will be faithful?
