Have you ever noticed that people tend to congregate in the kitchen when family or friends gather for a special occasion?

We find purpose in our doing, but life is more than just what we do. We are human beings, not just human doings.

Life is not always as simple as doing the right thing and receiving our reward. Part of coming to terms with all that is beyond our control and our own ability to foresee all of life’s countless variables.

It occurred to me that we are to be like that stream reflecting all the best that God has created…
