Religious liberty is a baptist ideal embraced by the framers of the US Constitution. It’s played a significant role in shaping our nation, but getting there wasn’t easy.

We often go through difficult times in life. The path is so rough and steep that we wonder if we have the strength to go on. God’s Spirit encourages us to make it all the way.

Long before the colonists here fathomed the concept of political independence, these early Baptist believers sought a liberty of conscience, worship, and affiliation. They pushed for religious liberty. They took radical stands.

Most of our students and teachers are beginning their fourth week of school this week. While some schools are back in person, many of our schools in the metro Atlanta area are still meeting virtually. Today, we want to offer a prayer specifically for our teachers.
