We often go through difficult times in life. The path is so rough and steep that we wonder if we have the strength to go on. God’s Spirit encourages us to make it all the way.

Long before the colonists here fathomed the concept of political independence, these early Baptist believers sought a liberty of conscience, worship, and affiliation. They pushed for religious liberty. They took radical stands.

Most of our students and teachers are beginning their fourth week of school this week. While some schools are back in person, many of our schools in the metro Atlanta area are still meeting virtually. Today, we want to offer a prayer specifically for our teachers.

The power to overcome evil is in the hands of every ordinary Christian who walks in the way of Jesus. Your power is in your actions of love. The love we see in the ministry of Jesus has power to change evil into good.
