Jesus offers a way of life that enables you to find rest for your soul. In him you can find inner rest for the spirit, restoring hope, meaning, and purpose in life.

This prayer is the opening prayer from our first session of Compassion Camp, published by Illustrated Ministry.

“Compassion means I see your hurt, I feel your hurt with you, and I try my best to ease your hurt.” But we can’t do any of these things if we aren’t willing to see and listen to the people in front of us.

What does it mean to welcome? Jesus said his followers would include ordinary people, those who live their lives through Jesus as his presence in the world.  But who does he also include at the end?
