Across the Earth

Across the earth

We have brothers and sisters

That we do not know 

And will never meet. 

Yet our lives are intertwined

Tied together as family.

Bound together in blood.

Holy companions

Who through sacred sacrifice, 

Like us, have been made whole.

Nothing we have done

Or could ever do.

Only One;

Only Him.

Not once upon a time,

But once and for all time.

Jesus.

So if my brother struggles;

If my sister suffers,

So does He.

So must I.

So should we.
