Retirement Celebration for Bob Williamson

After 28 years of leading and serving our church community, Bob Williamson has announced his plans for retirement.

"I feel it is the right decision at the right time for the church and for me and our family,” Bob said.

“A lot of prayer, thought, crunching of numbers, and openness to the leadership of God has been involved in this decision. I feel really good about the church, the staff, and the future of FBCD, so now seems to me to be the best time for me to step away. We will continue to pray for the church and the staff. My time on staff at FBCD has been the highlight of my career and calling. Thanks be to God!"

Bob's last day before retirement will be Wednesday, October 31st. We will have a retirement celebration for him in Carreker Hall on Sunday, October 28th following the 11:15am worship service.

We love you, Bob! There are not enough words to express our gratitude for your ministry in our community. From the bottom of our hearts: THANK YOU!
