Veterans share memories
The annual Veterans Day Dinner will be November 10 at 6 p.m. in Carreker Hall. The speaker will be Clayton Byrd, World War II Veteran, POW and Purple Heart recipient. Everyone who has, or at one time had, a veteran in their family is asked to bring veteran or war time souvenirs, memorabilia, pictures, and artifacts. The items will be displayed on tables. There will be time in the evening's program where everyone present will be invited to tour the room and visit each display. Family members are invited to attend and share the story of their veteran. We hope you will plan to attend. The cost of the meal is $8. Sign up sheets will be in Sunday School classes or you may contact the church office.
