Epiphany Sunday — One Worship together
Epiphany is a Christian “Feast Day” that celebrates the revelation of God the Son as a human being in Jesus Christ. This Feast celebrates principally (but not solely) the visit of the Magi to the Christ child, and thus, the inclusion of Gentiles into the mission of God in Christ. As Gentiles ourselves, this should be a day of great joy for us! In that spirit, we will gather on January 3, the Sunday closest to Epiphany, in a combined worship service to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in our common life.
Roger Paynter begins as our full time interim Senior Pastor on this Sunday, and is asking each of us to make every effort to be a part of this new beginning!
